chocolate cake

easy, quick chocolate dessert.


ingredents:

1 cup all purpous flour

1 cup 3/4 sugar

3/4 cups unsweetend cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1/2 cup vegtable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup boiling water

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions:

  1. grease one 9-inch cake pan

  2. turn the oven to 350 F

  3. in a stand mixer combine the flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda on low for a couple of seconds. (try not to have the flour mixture come flying out of the stand mixer)

  4. turn the mixer of and add the baking powder.

  5. gradually add the eggs, vanilla extract, and milk to the mixture.

  6. slowly mix the ingredents together on low and gradually turn to a higher speed when most of the flour has been incourperated.

  7. pour mixture into the greased cake pan and pour the lemon juice on top.

  8. then place in the oven and let bake for 15-20 min or unti a toothpick comes out clean

  9. let cool for 10-15 min

  10. turn over pan and remove cake

  11. you can frost the cake with the chocolate buttercream recipie or eat it the way it is.
